We were both humbled and delighted to be chosen as Grain LNG’s Charity of the year last April.
Staff representatives, Bailey, Liz and Sarah came along last week with a box of goodies for us – and a magnificent presentation cheque for … £7000!
This is an incredible amount of money for us – a third of what we need to raise each year to continue the work we do, and we couldn’t thank them enough. Speechless doesn’t cover it: we all just stared, wide eyed!
Thank you so much to everyone there who put their hands in their pockets for savoury bake sales and raffle prizes and so much more to raise such a fantastic amount for us.
